In its 48th year, the national nonprofit partners with youth justice, child welfare, behavioral health, education, public safety, and other systems to provide community-based alternatives to incarceration, residential care and neighborhood violence. YAP is in nearly 150 communities in 35 states and the District of Columbia with partner programs in Australia, Guatemala, Ireland, and Sierra Leone.
